May 2018 –
This month we have had a huge change to the practice, As some of you may already know, Mr Tyrrell has now retired from Dawley Dental Practice after a hearty 25 years at the practice. Hugh bought the practice from Mr Bullock back in 1993 and guided it’s expansion and modernisation over the years. He had a great relationship with his patients and those who have already received their letter/email have expressed how much they appreciated his work over the years and will miss him as their dentist. All the team here at Dawley ask you to join us in wishing him all the very best in his retirement.
Any Denplan & private patients of Hugh’s have been moved over to the practice owner Natalie, but if you’d prefer to see any of our other dentists, please let us know when you call for your next appointment.
On Sunday 6th May, Our dental nurse/receptionist Meg gave birth to her beautiful son Luca. We are all so pleased for her and her husband Stew!

We are pleased to announce that our Dental Therapist Claire has now returned to work. She has survived her first week being back without her beautiful daughter.
We are really sorry to have to let you know that our very popular dentist Raj Koner seen here with Richard Williams left us at the end of July to move to a practice closer to his home in Wolverhampton.
He has been with us for the past year on his one year post graduate training programme, and we have all enjoyed having him work with us. We know that you have too, because we have never had so many positive comments about any of our staff.
We would love to tell you that we have a replacement for Raj lined up, but his employment here has been sponsored by the NHS, and the NHS have unfortunately decided that they are unable to provide funding for a replacement dentist.
Our Therapist Claire has been away from work recently, and her patients have been asking where she is; well all is well, in fact all is very well because on 19th May at 11.20 pm she gave birth to her beautiful daughter Cora who arrived weighing 6 lb 10 oz. Congratulations to Claire and Damian!!! We are so happy for you. All the staff enjoyed cuddling Cora when Claire brought her in to see us recently. Claire will be back in October.
